I saw a cool thing today,
We were at a baby shower after church today and one of my CD's was playing in the background. The cool thing that I saw was a little 6 year old girl on the stage with a microphone in her hand pretending to sing my songs, and she knew all the words. To me that means, here is a kid who has memorized several of God's promises to her. She may need to recall those promises some day, and they will be tucked away in her DNA...cool!

Is it time to rest?
After 8 glorious days celebrating the "Feast of Tabernacles" at Jubilee Church in Camarillo, CA, in which I had the privilege of playing or singing on 5 of the evenings, we put an exclamation point on this time with a solo concert at New Beginnings Fellowship in Simi Valley, CA. The presence of God was so sweet as we worshipped. I felt the Holy Spirit hovering over the congregation and touching individuals as I sang "If My People" and "God is Able", like He was saying, "this is for you my beloved!" May God be praised as we continue to serve Him.
A night of rejoicing at Jubilee
Thursday 9/27 I was joined by my friends the Estradas, the Iantornos, Andy, Laura and Tim for a night of abandonment in worship. We had a blast, but after playing my guitar for 3 1/2 hours my fingers were starting to get numb. Hundreds of people came forward to be touched by Jesus, and He was faithful to meet their needs. Dancing, singing, shouts of triumph as well as travail could be heard as the Holy Spirit would move upon people.
Pastor Steve introduced "Words of Faith and Hope" to the congregation, and we prayed to dedicate the CD to the work of the Lord. I was so choked up, I almost couldn't get the words out of my mouth to pray. It is in His capable hands, after all, it is His Word!!
I also had a surprise visit from my first mentors, Dave and Jan Malkin. They stopped by on their way through town. After not seeing them for several years, it was good to catch up on what God is doing in our lives and families.
Blessings to all,
Wes
We're in the stores!
"Words of Faith and Hope " are now available to be ordered at most Christian bookstores around the country through the "AudioSelect" listening stations. Just look up Wes Michael, or Wes Michael Gorospe, or Words of Faith and Hope, and it should bring up the CD to listen to and read the cover.
Are we there yet?
Well, CD baby says that "Words of Faith and Hope" has been approved and sent to the digital partners. We are only days away from digital downloading...hooray!!
Tomorrow night, 9/26, The Feast of Tabernacles conference starts at Jubilee Church in Camarillo, and I will be either leading worship or participating with another worship team for 4 out of the 8 nights. Should be lots of fun!
September 22... Yeah God!!
Today God stopped the rain long enough for us to set up the sound, sing praises to His name, and see lots of people touched by the hand of our Majestic Jesus. Many gave their hearts to the Lord, and some experienced healing in their bodies and souls. We serve a radical God!
And praise His name, the new CD is now available on the cdbaby website.

God is at work
Hi,
It's been a while since I updated my blog. We finished the CD; thanks to Tim, Andy, Tony, Heather, Pat, Ernie, and Mrs. Lee for her delicious apple fritters, without which the project would not have been so sweet.
- The site is up to date.
- A CD dedication service is in the works.
- itunes and cdbaby should be ready for distribution within a few days.
- I've been playing the songs live at different venues throughout the summer, and have more to do this fall.
- getting geared up for the Spanish version of the CD.
lots going on...busy,busy,busy!!!
Wes
October was a crazy...busy month!
Besides being in the studio working on "Words of Faith and Hope", which is really turning out great so far, We've been all over:
Grand Canyon for some vacation time...Leading worship at Jubilee's Freedom Encounter seminars...singing at a wedding reception...singing at a memorial reception...Doing a concert and teaching at New Beginnings Fellowship gave me a chance to debut a couple of new songs which we've just recorded...and developing a bible study called "Raising God's Army to Live in Worship"...using the songs from "Words of Life". It was cool to hear some of the kids say, "I already know that song about God not giving me a spirit of fear...I listened to it over and over when I was afraid to go to sleep...it helped me." I am so blessed that others are being blessed.
Hey, I am looking for someone to sing Deuteronomy 33:26-29, the last words of Moses to the children of Israel, in Hebrew. Send me an email if you know someone.
Be Blessed, Wes
In the Studio recording "Faith" 09/28/06
We've been in the studio at Mountain Dog for three sessions; laying down the scratch tracks to establish the "pathway" of each song..."Faith", in Hebrews 11:1,3,6, is first up. It's sounding pretty cool with a straight ahead rock n roll beat...good start. The guitar parts are screaming great...can't wait for you to hear it.
